d2k (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the d2k mobile application and d2k.app website. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.

Photos & Images

When you use d2k, you may upload selfie photos (for color analysis) and garment photos (for your digital closet). These images are stored securely in our cloud storage and are only accessible to you. We do not sell, share, or use your photos for advertising purposes.

Style Preferences

During onboarding and app use, we collect style preferences including your seasonal color type, size information, fit preferences, style icons, and occasion preferences. This data is used solely to personalize your outfit recommendations.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app experience. This does not include personally identifiable information.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered color analysis and outfit recommendations
• To maintain your digital wardrobe and style profile
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send you important account notifications
• To improve our AI models and app experience

AI Processing

d2k uses AI services (including Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude) to analyze garment photos and generate outfit recommendations. Your photos may be processed by these AI services for the sole purpose of providing you with accurate garment categorization and outfit suggestions. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Supabase (PostgreSQL database and cloud storage) with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security to ensure each user can only access their own data.

Payment Processing

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your credit card information. Stripe’s privacy policy governs the handling of payment data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data only:

• With AI service providers for the purpose of generating recommendations (photos and preferences only)
• With Stripe for payment processing
• When required by law

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data including photos, preferences, and outfit history is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Children’s Privacy

d2k is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
